Post-Acute Authorization Implementation Strategy
A first-of-its-kind implementation framework that increased adoption of the Post-Acute Authorization Module through structured discovery, workflow design, and performance measurement.
Role: Senior Implementation Consultant
When I joined a healthcare tech company, the Post-Acute Authorization Module had been available for months, but client adoption was low. Most teams struggled to understand how to integrate the tool into their workflows effectively. Within my first few months at the company, I led the effort to create a structured, scalable implementation strategy that would change that.
I began by developing a comprehensive discovery questionnaire to help clients map out their existing authorization processes and identify friction points before launch. Using those insights, I conducted time studies to quantify the administrative burden and measure how the new module could improve turnaround times.
From there, I designed and documented the first standardized implementation approach, complete with training materials, workflow guides, and success metrics—that made the module easier to adopt and scale across multiple client sites. This structured model was later embedded into every new client implementation, ensuring consistency and measurable outcomes from day one.
Impact:The strategy led to a sharp increase in client adoption, faster workflow integration, and greater user confidence in the Post-Acute Authorization Module. What began as a short-term optimization became a long-term framework still in use today, setting a new standard for how implementation is approached across the platform.
